Staycation weekends - glamp camp with us at Chafford Park throughout May 2022 (one month only) and stay in one of our spacious bell tents, perfect for weekend getaways set within beautiful grounds of a charming Country Estate, bordering Sussex & Kent.

Chafford Park Estate is located just 10 minutes by car from Tunbridge Wells and only 45 minutes by train from London Bridge. Nearby are the picturesque villages of Groombridge, Fordcombe and Penshurst, with the historic Hever Castle, just 15 minutes from the estate. The estate is a stunning wedding venue, but it is opening up for camping/glamping throughout May 2022.

All our pop up bell tents will be pitched with plenty of space between each tent and facilities nearby include wc, showers and outdoor kitchen sinks. We can cater for families, dogs (one per tent) and group bookings (only within the glamping part of the campsite). We have 10 bell tents available each weekend /midweek throughout May 2022 only. Please read to see what is included in each tent, to make sure that they meet your requirements for family camping. All our bells include camp beds, not real beds.
If you are a group of friends/family who would like to glamp together in bell tents, just let us know and we can make sure that your bell tents are next to each other or opposite - subject to availability. We cannot however, place you together if you are a mixture of glamping or non-glamping families, as the general campsite pitches are separate to the glamping area.

Additional campsite info :
* Please note that the tents do not include electricity. All lights are battery powered within the bell tents.
*There are toilet and WC facilities on site + plug points.
*Parking is available in the field near the campsite.
*There are wheelbarrows on site to transfer your belongs to your tents from your car.
*Please take all litter and rubbish with you - so please bring bin bags if you can.
*The campsite has a mixture of bell tents and non-glampers, but the bells are set up in their own area within the meadows. If you have friends who are non-glampers they will not be able to pitch their tents next to the bell tents as glamping and camping is separate. They will have their own pitches assigned by the campsite within the same field.
*If you are glamping with friends who have also booked our bell tents, we will do our best to put you together, depending on tent availability.
* You can bring your own BBQ or camping stove, as long as it is off the ground.
*The nearest shop is Groombridge Farm Shop (approx 5 minute drive) and the nearest supermarket is in Tunbridge Wells (approx 10-15 mins drive).
* Bike rental is available at www.countrybike.co.uk based in Fordcombe Village. They can deliver your bikes to you for an additional charge.
*The campsite is dog friendly, but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
*Entrance to the campsite is via Fordcombe Village. Turn left just before the village green (if arriving from Tunbridge Wells) and Chafford is located down the country road - approx 1 mile on the left hand side.
*Check in from 3pm and check out by 12pm.
* All bell tents are fire retardant to British Standard BS7837
All bell tent entrances, doors and windows MUST be zipped up on departure and not left open to the elements.
*For any reason, we cannot supply an item due to breakages, we will let you know in advance.

Places nearby include Hever Castle with it's maze and outdoor water garden, Groombridge Place with an enchanted woodland and play area located in Groombridge village with the picturesque Crown Inn on the green, Ashdown Forest -follow the Winnie The Pooh trail to Pooh Sticks Bridge (yes,it does exist although the river can get clogged up with sticks! ) and local pubs including The Bottle Inn House in Penshurst + the regency spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Please check places areopen before planning a visit.
